Statement On The Situation In Israel And The Occupied Palestinian Territory

Saturday, October 7, 2023 – I strongly condemn the massive rocket attacks against civilians sent by Hamas into Israeli territory which has caused injury to  more than 545 people and killed more than 20 Israelis. According to media reports, this is a high number of casualties.

Nothing can be gained by acts of Violence except suffering. All kinds of acts of violence and aggression, especially against civilians need to be put to an end as it causes nothing but destruction.

This horrific violence must stop immediately. We demand an immediate end to the violence from all parties and beseeches a Peace Treaty  between Israel and Palestine.
