Israel-Iran ceasefire

The announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran is welcomed and represents positive news, marking the conclusion of the 12 DAY War, which is considered an “important step” towards reestablishing stability in a region characterized by rising tensions.

I have persistently extended offers of mediation to promote lasting peace in the Middle East. Both Israelis and Palestinians are entitled to the opportunity to live and aspire to a peaceful and prosperous future. Together, let us strive to realize the vision of Global Peace 2030.
