Unrest in South Sudan Is Unacceptable – Peace Is the Only Way Forward

Unrest in South Sudan is unacceptable. The ongoing violence has killed hundreds, and the targeting of civilians must stop immediately.

I urge all parties to abandon violence and come to the negotiating table. South Sudan needs peace and stability above all. I stand ready to support mediation efforts under my Global Peace 2030 agenda.
