Mr. KC Calls for Peace on the Korean Peninsula
Monday, April 20, 2026 – My main concern is the situation on the Korean Peninsula. The Korean conflict is an ongoing issue resulting from the division of Korea between North Korea and South Korea, both of which claim to be the legitimate government of all Korea.
I have already sent a peace proposal message to the leader of North Korea. My intention is to promote freedom and peace for the North Korean people. Today, North Korea is often described as one of the most restrictive countries in the world, where many people live in fear.
Through my “Global Peace 2030” initiative, I call upon the North Korean leadership, including Kim Jong Un, to take steps toward positive change—bringing greater freedom, peace, and dignity to the people, and helping them move out of hardship.
I believe in a future where the Korean Peninsula can achieve lasting peace, stability, and unity through dialogue and cooperation.
– Sappan KC, President / Global Peace 2030
