Mr. KC Calls for Peace in Mali as Armed Violence Escalates

Mr. KC Calls for Peace in Mali as Violence Continues to Spread Across the Country
STATEMENT
Thursday, April 30, 2026 – Armed violence in Mali continues to spread across the country, including along the Niger border, killing civilians and government officials. This must stop. Killing is not a solution.
I call on all parties involved in the violence to come to the peace table and abandon violent ways. The people of Mali have been living in fear for years; they only want peace, no more conflict and violence, and stability. This aligns with my Global Peace 2030 agenda.
- Sappan KC, President / Global Peace 2030
