Mr. KC Calls for Immediate Ceasefire as U.S.–Israel–Iran Conflict Escalates
Statement
Tuesday, April 7, 2026 – Amid the continuing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, and following recent statements by a U.S. leader warning that “the whole civilization could die” in threats toward Iran, I urgently call for an immediate ceasefire.
War, violence, and the killing of civilians are not the solution. Destruction only brings more suffering and instability. No nation or humanity as a whole will benefit from this path.
I humbly appeal to all nations involved in this conflict to step back from escalation, agree to a ceasefire, and work together to find a peaceful and diplomatic solution. The Strait of Hormuz – a vital artery for global energy and trade – must be reopened safely so that the world’s economies are not further disrupted by conflict. This route should be a path for peaceful commerce, not the backdrop for war.
I have already offered myself as an independent mediator, outside of any government, to support efforts aimed at ending this war. As the initiator of the Global Peace 2030 initiative, I remain committed to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and sustainable peace through peaceful means.
– Sappan KC, President / Global Peace 2030
