Statement by Mr. KC on Civilian Killings and the Humanitarian Crisis in Lebanon and the Conflicts in the Middle East

Statement by Mr. KC on Civilian Killings and the Humanitarian Crisis in Lebanon and the Conflicts in the Middle East

Statement

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 – I strongly condemn the ongoing violence and the tragic loss of civilian lives in the Middle East. The continued war involving the United States, Israel, Iran, and rising tensions affecting Gulf countries, along with Israeli strikes in Lebanon, has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians, including children, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. This situation is totally unacceptable.

I call on all parties involved to immediately stop the killings and end the ongoing wars and conflicts in the Middle East. Military confrontation between Iran and Gulf nations must also stop. War can never bring victory for humanity; it only brings suffering and the loss of innocent lives.

I once again appeal to all parties involved to end these wars and conflicts and to declare an immediate ceasefire. There are always better solutions than war. I am deeply concerned that many international bodies remain silent and have not taken stronger action to call for peace and a ceasefire.

All parties involved in the Middle East conflicts should come together under the Global Peace 2030 Agenda to pursue dialogue, stability, and lasting peace.
