Mr. KC Calls Rival Governments and All Conflicting Parties for Lasting Peace in Libya
Statement
Monday, 4 May 2026 – In Libya, people are living in fear and uncertainty of renewed violence, as two rival governments (the GNU in Tripoli and GNS in Benghazi) continue to divide the country. Security instability persists, and thousands remain internally displaced. Now is the time to act, and I humbly appeal and propose peace with all sides.
The Libyan people want lasting peace, unity, and security stability in the nation. How long will this situation continue? I am ready to cooperate for mediation in peace talks involving all parties, as I want peace in this nation and support my Global Peace 2030 target.
– Sappan KC, President / Global Peace 2030
