  Statement on the Escalating Violence in Southeastern Colombia and Offer of Peace Mediation Thursday, 28 August 2025 - I express deep concern over the recent surge of violence in southeastern Colombia, particularly in the municipality of El Retorno, Guaviare province. Reports indicate that members of the Central General Staff
