Mr. KC Offers to Mediate Peace Talks in Mozambique

Statement

Friday, 10 July 2026 – Mozambique is a very important nation in my Global Peace 2030 initiative. This beautiful country has endured years of violence, resulting in the loss of many lives and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians. It is now time to choose the path of peace.

The people of Mozambique have suffered from violence, killings, political instability, and ongoing conflict in several parts of the country, particularly in the northern province of Cabo Delgado. The citizens of this great nation deserve peace, security, stability, and the opportunity to build a better future.

I call upon all parties involved in the conflict to come together for meaningful peace talks. Let us listen to the voices of the people, who seek peace and stability above all else. Dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation are essential for achieving a lasting solution.

As part of my Global Peace 2030 agenda, I remain committed to supporting peace and stability in Mozambique. I therefore offer my assistance as a mediator to help facilitate dialogue among all parties and encourage the beginning of a constructive peace process.

The time has come to replace violence with dialogue and conflict with cooperation. Together, we can work toward a peaceful and prosperous Mozambique.
